Day Trip to Shenzhen from HongKong

hi

I hold a New Zealand passport. I will be in HongKong for a week, and I plan to visit Shenzhen for a day trip for sightseeing and shopping of course! Afterwards, on the same day, coming back to HongKong for the rest of travels, before leaving for Australia.

I'm sure I'm eligible for the 24-Hour Transit Without Visa, correct? How much does it cost? and what is the process to get one?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Many Thanks.

In fact, you are not eligible for the 24-hour visa-free visit as you have a round-trip but not a transit. However, it is possible for you to get a 5-day Shenzhen visa on arrival in Shekou, Huanggang, and Luohu port. It generally costs CNY 275 per person. Pay attention that the visa office generally opens from 9:00-16:30 and you should arrive there as early as possible to avoid long queues.
