I am uk citizen coming from 7days holiday in Thailand, want to stop in beijing 4 days and then to UK

Hi, I will be coming into Beijing by air from thailand, into pek, then leaving on British airways flight but it departs from DAX, is this ok under the 144 hour visa? ie to arrive at one airport in beijing and then my depart flight from another or should I arrive in dax and leave via dax? many thanks

Yes, using different airports within the same transit area is allowed for 144 hour visa free transit. Here I suggest you to use correct terminology because this is not a visa, but just visa free transit.

Assuming that your itinerary is:

Thailand - Beijing - UK

And that you do not have any other landing of any kind between the mentioned points, then you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit. You are advised to print out your flight tickets and also a hotel booking confirmation in order to have them at hand when officials ask for them.
