About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Jakarta to japan - Transit in fuzhou

My wife and i, are flying from jakarta to japan via fuzhou using xiamen air. Do we need visa prior transit at fuzhou, or are we eligible for twov 24hr?
Jakarta CGK - Fuzhou FOC 1335 - 2045
Fuzhou FOC - Kansai KIX (next day) 0909 - 1230
Also, can we just stay at the airport (transit area) without applying any visa for worst case?

Formally, Fuzhou airport does not support 24 hour visa free transit, but if you are flying with Xiamen Airlines your entire journey, you will be fine because Xiamen Airlines and Fuzhou airport have special agreement regarding the 24 hour visa free transit for Xiamen Airlines passengers.

As far as I know, Fuzhou airport has some kind of opening hours, so you should check elsewhere for this particular detail. Also, it is not that you need a visa to exit the airport, but you will just need a temporary entry permit that is granted upon arrival to those passengers who have long hours of transit time in order to be allowed to exit the airport. Temporary entry permit is obtained upon landing in China at transit counter (desk) of the airport and before immigration.
