About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Taipei (Taiwan) to Jakarta by Xiamen airlines transit 19 hours in Fuzhou

My Xiamen airlines flight (from Taiwan) will arrive at 1pm in Fuzhou airport, China and leaving 9am next day (19 hours transit) to Jak

Will me and my wife (both holding Indonesian passport) be eligible for TWOV and leaving the airport overnight for sightseeing and back to airport 6am next day? Need your enlightment. Thank you.

Fuzhou airport is still listed as the one that does not allow 24 hour visa free transit. In other words, you and your wife are supposed to obtain a transit visa in advance or better to say before your flight. However, there is one detail here... Xiamen Airlines is well aware of this detail and it has special relationship with Fuzhou airport authorities and it is known that passengers using Xiamen Airlines for their entire journey are not required to obtain any kind of visa before the flight and are allowed to spend their time in Fuzhou while waiting for their onward flight to their final destination. In other words, now it is up to you what will you decide... Obtaining a Chinese transit visa would relieve you from any stress, but I am also more than sure that without any visa, if traveling the entire journey visa Fuzhou, you would be fine. Now, the choice is all yours.
