About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

British citizen layover

I’m a British citizen and have a 2 hour layover in Shanghai PuDong. Flight is Bangkok - Shanghai - London. Do I need to apply or fill out any forms prior to flying? Thank you in advance

Not really... You can, if you want, fill out the Chinese health declaration form just before your check-in in Bangkok, but you can proceed even without it. Upon your landing, you will have to be very fast to accomplish the formalities of your flight change... Try to be very, but really very fast...
