About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 144 transit visa in PVG with this 2 round trip reservations?

Actually, this is 144 hour visa free transit and not 144 transit visa. There is no visa at all.

If you have mentioned your all stops within the itinerary and it seems you did, you will be definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit during your first stay in Shanghai.

As far as your second stay in Shanghai is concerned, you will be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit because your layover will be shorter than 24 hours. Never mind because in both cases, you will travel visa free regardless if you travel covered by 144 or 24 hour visa free transit. You are good to go.

Just a detail... It is perfectly fine and allowed to have separate tickets and to fly on unrelated airlines. It is itinerary only that maters.
