About:Visa on Arrival

24 hour visa free stay in Shenzhen

Hello,

am I eligible for a 24 transit without visa if I take a train from Kong Kong Wet Kowloon station to Futian train statio in Shenzhen and then take a flight from Baoan airport to Indonesia? So basically my route will be Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Indonesia. I am from Slovakia - European Union.

I know there is an immigration handled at West Kowloon station, can they grant me 24 visa free transfer and will I be able to get to the airport from the train station in Shenzhen?

Taking high speed train is not available as they cannot grant you 24-hour visa-free transit. You can only get it in airport. However, no flight is available between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

The best way to take your flight is simply to take a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen and to obtain there a 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival. You will be granted a visa based on the fact that you will fly out from Shenzhen Bao'an airport and the price of this visa is 275 CNY that you will pay by card only. Please, just plan to arrive at Shekou port during its opening hours time: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

You will take CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company ferry and you can even book a ticket for the ferry in advance. So, this is by far your best option how to accomplish your journey.
