About:Visa on Arrival

where can i go in HK to be able to optain the 5 days visa

my wife and I are us senior citizens and will be in hong kong on nov 16 to nov 21 and want to visit shenzen and meet with some friends, how can we apply for this entry permits?

This is relatively easy, but I suggest you the following:

- Take the first ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen by CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company
- Upon arrival in Shekou port, you will apply there for 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival, but have in mind the opening hours of Shekou visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
- The price for US citizens is high because of reciprocity and amounts to 1,295 CNY payed by card only.
- You can exit Shenzhen back to Hong Kong by taking any border crossing or any mean of transport including a high speed train.
