About:China Visa on Arrival

Transiting through China

I am an Australian looking to travel to Russia. I will be transiting through Shanghai Pudong then Harbin to get to East Russia. I will be transiting through China for less than 24 hours from when my first flight lands. Will I need to get a transit visa?

Thank you.

If your total stay in China is less than 24 hours, then you are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit and no visa is needed.
