Stay in Beijing for 3 nights (over 72 hours)

Hi.
Hope you can help.
I am UK passport holder and have the following flights, am I eleigble for visa free transit visa to visit Beijing on outward journey? :
19/11/23 LHR: 20:25 - PEK: (+1) 14:45
23/11/23 PEK: 19:05 - MNL (+1) 00:10

02/12/23 MNL: 06:20 - PEK: 11:05
02/12/23 PEK:14:40 - LHR: 17:50

All flights are booked with Air China.
On return journey from Manila to London I will not leave the airport.

From my understanding I just need to inform check in desk on departure from London that I wish to apply for 144 visa free transit stay in Beijing and once landed in Beijing I go to specific counter to apply.
