About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shenzhen VOA

Hello,

Would you please tell me, if I'll be eligible for 5 day VOA to Shenzhen? I'm Czech republic passport holder. I would like to spend 3 days in Hong Kong, 3 days Macau, and 3 days in Shenzhen and the depart from Hong Kong.
My flight Zurich -> HK, HK-> Zurich.

Yes, you will be definitely eligible for 5 days Shenzhen VOA. However, I would like to inform you that the visa offices at designated overland border crossings are very congested and the quota system is used. So, I would like to suggest you to take the first morning ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen because there you will encounter calmer situation. Please, just have in mind the opening hours of Shekou visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

I can see you have mentioned that you would like to visit Macau too. To make your entire trip more economical, you are informed that you are allowed to take a direct ferry from Shekou port in Shenzhen to Macau.
