About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

I would like to obtain a longer residence permit.

There is too much to say here and saying it in few words would leave too much unsaid. My name is Jon Metzinger, and I am currently 63 years old. I am a graduate of the University of Southern California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), having majored in the Global Economy. I live in California USA currently. I lived in China for 4 years (Nov 2017-Nov 2021). 2 years in the City of Shenzhen and 2 years in the city of Huangshan/Tunxi. As mentioned above, I have a long story to tell. Sadly, there is not enough room here to do it. Briefly...I would like to live quietly (draw pictures, paint, and occasionally visit family members and friends) in the city of Huangshan/Tunxi and be near the grave of the woman I loved and preform for her all the traditional duties required of family members. Is this possible?
Thank you.

Sorry, but it's not an easy thing. However, as you have lived in China for 4 years, you may try to obtain a multiple-entry 10-year China visa. The thing is you still need to leave China, maybe to HK every time the duration of stay is drawing to an end. This is currently the easiest solution I can think out.
