About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK citizen to Hong Kong and then to Shengzen for a few hours and then back to Hong Kong

Good day, my boss is travelling to Hong Kong for business for 6 days. He has been asked to go to Shengzen China for a few hours while in Hong Kong. He is due to leave from Hong Kong and to another country. Can he take advantage of the 24 hour visa free transit?

No, HK - Shenzhen - Hk is not eligible for 24-hour visa free transit. But he is eligible for Shenzhen visa on arrival, which however takes a long time to apply at the border. It's advised to travel by ferry from HK to Shenzhen Shekou port, where the queue is shorter.
