About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

Does China have the equivilant of the US Green Card residency permit?

If so, what are the requirements to get one? And if I can be issued a Residency Permit (Green Card) for China could I then be able to work part-time as an educator at an International School?

Yes, there is a Permanent Resident Permit similiar to US green card. If you want to work here, just apply for a Permanent Residence for Employment. You may read this page to know the requirement: www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/refusal.htm
