Actually, you cannot do that in the way you have described.
As you can see, you cannot have an itinerary:
Hong Kong - Guangzhou - Hong Kong
This is not a transit, but a simple return trip. In other words to make your itinerary eligible you will do the following:
Hong Kong - Guangzhou - Macau - Hong Kong
So, your option is to take a ferry to Macau. You will take a ferry from Shekou in Shenzhen to Macau. So, if this is fine with you, you will have to buy your ferry ticket in advance through TurboJET website and to print it out. You will have this printout with you, ready to present it when needed. Also, you will have to take exactly that ferry that you have bought your ticket for.
