Can I apply Q1 visa to visit my aunt in China

My aunt is very close to me. In the past (before 2008), I used her invitation to obtain visa to visit her in China. Now I would like to it again, Can I apply Q1 visa?

It is possible for you to apply for Q2 visa rather than Q1.
