US passport holder, Macau-Zhuhai-Macau 2 nights

Thank you for your informative post. Do I need to be part of an "organized tour" to get from Macau into Zhuhai for a couple nights? I have a US passport and tickets from Macau to Singapore a few days after. Thank you!
