About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

HK - Guangzhou - HK

Hi
144 hour visa question:

Is it possible to land in HK from the UK, then travel to Guangzhou by ferry, and then return to HK by ferry for my return trip to the UK?

I'm sorry but this is a return journey and it is not eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit. However, you can change your itinerary like this to meet the requirement.

From HK, fly to Guangzhou, and then take a ferry to Macau. Then you can go to Hong Kong from Macau for your homeward journey.

Hi Matt, you need to fly into Guangzhou to be eligible.
