About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am a Hong Kong Residence, can i transit through Beijing to Hong Kong from UK?

I am a Hong Kong Residence, can i transit through Beijing to Hong Kong from UK with my HKSAR passport without my mainland travel permit since i left it in Hong Kong?

How long will the layover be? I think it should not be a problem if it is not longer than 24 hours. Anyway, you are advised to further confirm it with the officials.
