About:Layover in Shanghai

Traveling Phuket to Madrid via Shanghai on china eastern airlines

We are Seamen traveling via Shanghai PVG terminal 1 with 12 hour transit. What formalities to follow. Passport scanning visa issue etc. We have no intention of traveling in to the city. Our Nationality Indian.

If you only stop in Shanghai without any other stop in Chinese mainland cities, you are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit. If you plan to get out of the airport, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the visa-free transit counter. You may also need to prepare a self-testing antigen test within 48 hours.
