Honk kong to Shenzhen

Good morning
what is the best route to obtain a 144 hour visa to visit firends in Shenzhen (24h)
I was hoping it would be possibel to use the Highspeed train from Kowloon

No, this is not possible. The only way to use 144 hour visa free transit is to fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and after your stay to take ferry from Shenzhen to Macau. In other words, 144 hour visa free transit is available only in case if you enter Guangdong province by air.

The alternative, if you only want to visit Shenzhen, is to apply for 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival at designated border crossings. My suggestion for you is to take the first morning ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen and to obtain a visa on arrival at Shekou visa office. After your stay in Shenzhen, you can return to Hong Kong by high speed train.
