About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

15 Hours Layover in Beijing (PEK)

My partner (French) and I (Malaysian) will have a 15 hour layover in Beijing (PEK) before flying to Mongolia the next day. Are we eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit to leave the airport and to explore the city a bit?

Yes, you are eligible the 24-hour visa-free transit and you can just apply for a temporary permit to get out of the airport.
