I am 78 years old so according to the information I have read I don’t have to go to the visa office. Can you tell me what procedure I have to follow to apply for the L visa. I am joining a tour group from Kashgar to Xian. Thanks

Well, generally, the procedure is the same as others. Make an appointment first and then submit all the documents to the visa center. However, you don't have to go in person, and someone else can submit documents on your behalf.
