About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Seoul to Shanghai Pudong Transit

Hi Good Day, My Flight on South Korea arrive from Seoul to Shanghai Pudong Terminal 1 on 2nd Sep 12:25 PM and next flight is on Emirates Airline from Shanghai Pudong Terminal 2 departure time is at 07:15 on 3rd Sep. Kindly advise if i am eligible to get Transit visa... Thank you US & Saint Kitties Passport family members.

Since you will remain in mainland China for less than 24 hours, you are all definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit, so you do not need any kind of visa. Upon landing in Shanghai, you will apply for a temporary entry permit at 24/144 hour visa free transit counter. This permit is free of any charge and it allows you to exit the airport. So, this is not a visa, but just the entry permit. You are advised to have a confirmation of your accommodation booking and you should do DIY covid test have a photo of one at your smartphone. Also, you should fill out Chinese Health Declaration Form.
