About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Seoul to Shenzhen to Hong Kong via car

Hi, I will be travelling from Seoul (ICN) airport direct flight to Shenzhen Airport (SZX), stay 4 days at SZX, then go to Hong Kong by hiring private car with driver. Will I be eligible for the 144-hour transit visa?

No,you cannot do that. You should take a ferry from Shekou port in Shenzhen to downtown Hong Kong. A car is not eligible way of exit within the 144 hour visa free transit scheme.

Also, this is not a visa, but a visa free transit.
