About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit via Urumqi

Hi. I am Australian citizen and planning to travel to Kazakhstan with the following route: Sydney-Beijing -Urumchi by Air China and then I fly with a different airline from Urumqi to Kazakhstan. Am I eligible for free transit in Urumqi? The stopover is less than 12 hours
