About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Seoul - Shenzhen - HK (train)

Good day.
Can I fly from Seoul to Shenzhen for 2 days and leave by train to Hong Kong?

Okay I saw I cannot take the speed train. But I can take a train from
- Dongguan Railway Port

Or taxi:
- passing this checkpoint: Huanggang Port

But how can I proof to the immigration officer that I take a taxi? Because it says they want proof that I leave China within 144h

The best way proved by previous travelers is ferry. You need to book the ferry ticket in advance and show it to the immigration when landing in Shenzhen.

Would it break a rule if I decided to take a taxi instead of a train?
I saw the ferry all go to the airport but I want to go to downtown HK.

As it is hard to prove you will leave by taxi, so this is not optional. Taking a ferry from Shekou is available and you need to book the ferry ticket before your departure. If you don't take a ferry, then the flight is the only way available.

It is CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company that operates direct ferry connections between Shekou port in Shenzhen to downtown Hong Kong. Please, visit their website and buy a ticket that you will have to print out and have it with you. Also, you will have to take exactly the ferry you have bought your ticket for.

Yes, this is definitely valid journey as far as 144 hour visa free transit in Guangdong province is concerned. You are again advised to print out the ferry ticket and to have it at hand, especially during check-in in Seoul and upon arrival in Shenzhen. Have a nice and pleasant journey.
