About:China Visa on Arrival

3 single entries, before getting multiple entry?

Hi I work in macau(blue card holder). And on july 27 I have an appointment to apply for multiple entry visa. Is it true that I should have at least 3 times single entry first before I can get the multiple entry visa?

I haven't heard about this before. But old China visas really help in obtaining a new one.
