how to travel from Yuxi to Longnan olive institute"

I would like to visit the Olive Institute in Longnan from Yuxi where my son is living. Can to advise how I could travel there please

It is suggested to take a bullet train from Yuxi to Kunming first and then take an overnight train from Kunming to Longnan. It is also available to take a flight from Kunming to Longnan, which is faster but also need to transfer at least once.
