About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, is a return-ticket London to Shenzhen; then ferry/train ticket return Shenzhen- HK

Hi, return flight ticket London to Shenzhen; then a pre bought ferry/train ticket return Shenzhen- Hong Kong. Are you sure we also can apply for 24/144hrs free transit from Hong Kong back to Shenzhen then take the flight back from Shenzhen to London? Which custom can do the declaration? Can you provide their telephone no, please. Thank you..

Cathy, you cannot enjoy any kind of visa free transit for your second trip, but you can easily enjoy 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival as I have explained in your post located below. So, there is no problem in realization of your return tickets, but you will just have to apply and obtain a Shenzhen VOA when you arrive in Shekou port in Shenzhen. After that, you can stay in Shenzhen for 5 days and leave it on a nonstop flight to London.

Hi Borut,
1.About the accommodation for staying during 144hrs free transit time at Shenzhen, do you think it it better to book hotel for one day then the rest days stay at my friend’s? Or it doesn’t really matter for this scenario if I stay at my friend’s from the arrival?

2.Our trip is for holiday, just visiting friend in Shenzhen, are you sure we can apply for the 5 days Visa On Arrival at Shekou port in Shenzhen? What is the process and documents, please?

3. If applying AVO available for us, can we choose 2 days in advance to take the ferry to Shekou port apply for AVO and live at my friend’s address again? as flight departure time is very early.

4. VOA 314 CNY pay for it in a cashless way,
Do the Shekou custom accept Monzo credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal with iPhone? Or do they had credit/visa card machine? as we have no WeChat pay. Or can we ask a HK relative/ friend come along and pay cashless for us?
