About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Can I leave via louhou even though I have a ticket to leave from Guangzhou airport?

I have a ticket leaving from Guangzhou by air but would like to leave via Louhou is this ok to change like this?

No, it is not. You will have to stick with the itinerary that you have declared upon your arrival in Guangzhou.

If you still have not reached Guangzhou, you can book a ferry from Shekou port in Shenzhen and reach Hong Kong. You will have to print out that ticket and have it with you. Also, you will have to leave Guangdong province by exactly that ferry you have bought your ticket for.

Please, have in mind that you have to book the ferry ticket before you even depart for Guangzhou. It is better to forget about those overland options as you have suggested. They are problematic because you need a through transport on one mean of transport without going over the border on foot.
