Multiple entry X2 visa

Is it possible to obtain a multiple entry X2 visa or apply for an X1 visa, even though I am going to study in China for just one month? I need to travel outside of China during my exchange, therefore I was wondering if there was any solution that allowed me to do so.

You are only eligible for X2. You can try to apply for a double-entry X2, but it's not guaranteed you will succeed for sure.
