About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Shanghai Visa Hong Kong

Good afternoon,

I get in touch with you as I have a trip to Shanghai (departure Madrid Shanghai on 13/07 arrival 14/07).


I will be in Shanghai from 13/07 to 17/07 (4 days) and there I will catch a flight to Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong I will be from 18/07 to 23/07 (5 days).

On 24/07 I will take a flight back from Hong Kong to Shanghai towards Madrid.

I wonder if I need a visa since I will not be in Shanghai for more than 6 days.

Hi, both of your itineraries are okay because your each stay in Shanghai is never more than 144 hours. They are separate and the time for the second transit will be recounted. Have a nice trip :)
