About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

F Visa

Good day !
If I get the appropriate Invitation Letter and PU Letter from the University in China, what would be the maximum possible duration of a F visa ?
Upon expiry, would it be possible to apply for a tourist visa inside China before the F Visa expire, so as to prolong the China trip ?

1. The duration will largely depends on your invitation letter, but it is normally 30 days.

2. If you have enough reason and related documents to support it, then you can renew your visa when it expires. However, applying for a new tourist visa may not be accepted.
