Visa from Hong Kong to shenzhen

I’m from Singapore and I am going to Hong Kong in Aug 2023. I will like to inquire that can I only apply the visa upon arrival from Hong Kong to shenzhen?
Where should I apply once I reach shenzhen?
How long will it take for the application and the approval of the visa?
How much is the visa application?

You can also apply for a China visa in advance. The 5-day visa on arrival is for those who want to visit Shenzhen only.

Generally, you should acquire VOA at Shenzhen Huanggang, Luohu, and Shekou Ports. Recently, the waiting line is very long and things may be better in Shekou port. You should arrive at one of these ports as early as possible and the waiting time can be ranges about 2-3 hours.

The opening hours are 9:00-16:30. If you arrive there late, you may need to return to HK and queue up a new line the next day. It costs CNY 168 for the 5-day VOA.
