Theoretically yes, but since we do not have any relevant feedback on this particular subject, you are advised to postpone your trip to Shenzhen or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance. The pressure by many applicants has resulted in Chinese officials to impose some restrictions based on the number of daily applicants and also by refusing those from nearby countries, so it is hard to say what kind of approach they have with the citizens of countries that just seldom travel using this scheme. In any case, it would be better to do as I have suggest, to postpone or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance.
