About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

30days visa free policy for malaysian

Is that mean that we are holding Malaysia passport no need to apply for visa in order to visit hainan in aug ? Just bring passport at the immigration in the meilan airport then can normal enter into hainan. Only need to show the air ticket and the accomodations booking ? If we are staying at few hotel then have to bring out all the hotels booking ?
I really shocked because i email to ask the visa application centre, they told me must apply for the visa in order to enter to hainan as a Malaysian.

Yes, you can enter Hainan without a visa. In principle, you need to register with a local travel agency in advance.

But i asked the china visa application centre, they said malaysian must apply visa in order to enter hainan. So how is the situation actually? Can i get an official letter from the immigration that malaysian dont need visa to enter hainan ? I worry i will be blocked at the immigration and not allowed to board.please help.

I’m sorry you may not get such an letter. Anyway, according to recent feedback, it is possible to enter Hainan without a visa. However, some airlines do not know the policy and may not let you board the flight without a China visa. If you are worried, it is more suggested to apply for a China visa in advance.
