About:Visa on Arrival

VOA via the ferry to Shenzhen Shekou from the Hong Kong airport

Can I apply for a visa from the Hong Kong airport at the transfer area or would I be getting it once I arrive? For context, I am a Canadian citizen flying from the Philippines and looking to stay 3 days. Will the fact that I was granted this Visa 2 weeks ago affect my application?

Taking a ferry from Hong Kong airport directly to Shekou is by far the most convenient and elegant way to reach Shenzhen. You are allowed to apply for the second Shenzhen visa on arrival. If it was the third, I would be more cautious. Like this, you will be granted a second visa and you will enjoy your stay in Shenzhen area. You should just have in mind the fact about the opening hours of Shekou port visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
