Can I travel visa free with the following itinerary: London-Guangzhou-Bangkok-London?

Is the 72-144 hour visa free?

Yes, you can. Your itinerary, if you have presented all your landings, is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in entire Guangdong province. In other words, you do not need any kind of visa at all.

By the way 72 hour visa free transit was replaces by more generous 144 hour visa free transit years ago.
