About:Visa on Arrival

Indian passport holders traveling from Hong Kong

We are an Indian family visiting HONG KONG for tourism. We want to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzen for 3 days for tourism via the high speed train. Can we get VOA in shenzen and from where?

No, unfortunately, Indian citizens are not eligible for 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival at the time being. Hopefully, such a situation will be changed soon. Also, taking a high speed train was never an eligible way how to obtain a Shenzhen VOA.

When every other country is being granted Shenzhen VOA , why are Indians, Malaysian etc not granted visas?

Maybe it's because Chinese passport holders are not guaranteed India VOAs. When relevant Chinese authorities make decisions, they follow the principle of reciprocity.
