About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h visa-free + covid test

Hi, thanks for all your help!
Our journey is London - Gaungzhou - Vietnam (5 hour layover)
British national
Assume I would qualify for 24h visa-free?
Do I still need to do the self-test antigen? (even though just transiting)

I'm not very sure if a self-test antigen is needed in transiting. However, if I were you, I would do it for a worry-free trip.

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you do not any kind of visa. As previous poster has mentioned, it is better to perform DIY test and to have a photo of it just to enjoy the peace of mind.
