I want to visit China for 7 days as a foreigner

Hi I want to visit China for 7 days as a foreigner, from the UK but I’m living in Japan, I have a British Passport, but I also have a Japanese residence card.

Will I have to apply for a Visa and which visa should I get if needed?

I have a job opportunity there which I’m looking to explore, to see if it’s viable.

Hi, it is suggested to apply for a tourist visa. Fill in the application form on the website: cova.mfa.gov.cn and make an appointment via avas.mfa.gov.cn. If you plan to apply it in Japan, then your Japanese residence card is needed.
