About:China Customs Declaration

Newly bought iPhone and macbook

If i bring my newly bought iPhone and Macbook from EU to Vietnam (final destination) as gifts for my family and keep it on carry on luggage but I have 15 hours transit in Guangzhou, do I need to pay the duty for those things?

Generally, you don't need to if you only take one iPhone and one Macbook.
