About:Visa on Arrival

Swedish passport holder, can leave on flight to another country, while using Visa on arrival?

I plan to visit different destinations in Asia, come to HK, visit for some days, then go to SZ using Visa on arrival scheme, after that, leave SZ flying to Korea.
Is that feasible since I am not leaving SZ area?

Yes, you are definitely allowed to do that. You should just have one detail ind mind. Your flighjt from Shenzhen to some other country, South Korea in your case, has to be a direct, nonstop one. In other words, this flight is not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China.

Also, when entering Shenzhen from Hong Kong, you are strongly advised to use a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen because recent feedback shows that the waiting times at overland border crossings as far as Shenzhen visa obtaining are really unbearable. Just take care of the opening hours of the visa office in Shekou port: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
