Applying for Shenzhen VOA AT Shenzhen airport.

Hi, from the Q&As, it would appear that the holder of a Singapore passport would be able to get a Shenzhen VOA. I would like to know if the process is more painless and bearable if I fly directly into Shenzhen airport and apply for the VOA there. Thanks!
