Indonesian citizens are eligible for 5 days Shenzhen visa if they have been granted a Chinese visa in the past. This is for certain, but several feedback say in favor of granting a Shenzhen visa on arrival even to those Indonesians who were not granted a Chinese visa in the past, but I cannot guarantee that.
In other words, if you have old Chinese visa in your current or new passport, you should bring it and you will be granted a Shenzhen visa without any problem and your child will be granted one without a problem. Children are always granted a visa if it is granted to one or both parents.
If you do not have an old Chinese visa you can also try, your chances are good based on recent feedback and if you get a visa, your child will get one too. If you are refused a visa, it will be refused to your child too.
