About:Visa on Arrival

Visa on arrival for Shenzhen in Hongkong airport possible?

Is it possible to get a visa on arrival for Shenzhen at the Hongkong airport or do I have to go to one of the above ports?

How long does the process of obtaining a visa take on average in case we arrive at the opening time of the visa office?

There is no visa office at Hong Kong airport, but you can take a ferry from Hong Kong airport to Shekou port in Shenzhen (without crossing Hong Kong passport/customs control) and you can apply in Shekou for a Shenzhen VOA. Please, just keep in mind that visa office opening hours in Shekou port are: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
