About:China Visa on Arrival

visa for zuhai

Hey, I want to visit the Zhuhai area for a spontanious trip. Is it possible to fly in for example via Xiamen und apply for a 3 day turist visa at the Zhuhai airport on arrival?
I'm German nationality and passport holder.

No, this is not possible. The only way how can you obtain a Zhuhai visa is from Macau and Hong Kong by ferry or overland. There is no option to do it by arriving by plane. Also, visas on arrival imply that you arrive to that particular city from abroad and not from within mainland China. So, if you want to visit Zhuhai by taking advantage of visa on arrival, you will be able to do that only by arriving from Hong Kong and/or Macau.
