About:Visa on Arrival

HK Resident and children - travel to SZ

Hi there,

My wife and I are HK PRs but our 5 year old and 3 year old are not (the 5 year old was born in HK). We want to go to SZ on Thursday for 2 days. Will our kids have to get a visa or can they get a VOA?

You will enter Shenzhen by applying for Shenzhen VOAs based on your Australian citizenship, so you really don't have to worry about the details like HK PR or similar. You will approach Luohu (Lo Wu) border crossing as an Australian and obtain a visa on arrival. This will be quite a straightforward process.
