About:Visa on Arrival

UK citizen

I’m from the UK but I live in Japan, I’m planning to fly from Tokyo to Hong Kong then to luohu to get a 5 day visa.
Will i need a PCR test and if so, can I just get one in japan rather than Tokyo?

You can do that, but keep in mind that Luohu visa office is open just until 16:30.

You will need a PCR/antigen test not older than 48 hours at the time of your arrival at Luohu border crossing.

Based on your last question I assume that you thought "one in Japan rather than Hong Kong". If I am correct in my assumption, the answer is yes, until it does not become older than 48 hours at the time of your arrival at the border crossing.

By the way, you should be aware that the price of Shenzhen VOA for UK citizens is 314 CNY.
